Easy Secret to Chicken Stock and The Kitchen Next Door in Boulder, CO


Making chicken stock should not be a huge deal. All you need is older chicken bones, don't use the young ones, water and mirepoix.

 

The Kitchen Next Door in Boulder Colorado is a great relaxed restaurant on Pearl St.. Their menu focuses on local and seasonal ingredients. During the week they have nightly specials and a wonderful "community hour."  Community hour is their version of happy hour and the beers are 1$ off, and a menu of specially priced small plates.

They hit the mark with the Salt and Pepper Calamari and the Roasted Pork Slider. I felt the Baja Fish Tacos needed a bit of help.
